St. Mary School offers a balanced curriculum enriched with a variety of opportunities and extracurricular activities within a loving, faith-based community. Our emphasis on core fundamentals, with resource specialists in reading and math at all grade levels, prepares our students to think critically, work collaboratively and communicate effectively. In math and science, we have incorporated the latest methods, including a blended learning approach in Algebra and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) — to provide students an edge in our technological world.
Students in 5th – 8th grades benefit from a one-to-one laptop initiative, and students in TK- 4th grade share a computer cart and two iPad carts. Community service, field trips, Art Docent visits, Project Cornerstone, and hands-on exploration enhance the learning environment. In addition, junior high students choose from weekly electives — such as Writers Workshop, dance, digital media and photography, world cultures, and a wide variety of art classes, including ceramics and mixed medium — that change each trimester.
